Picnicing and the new restrictions. The new relaxed restrictions in Catalonia will remain in place until the 29th March when they will be reviewed once again.

There are no longer local restrictions in place on freedom of movement through Catalonia but its advised to stay within your bubble and maintain distances however the borders to remain closed except for certain circumstances

-Assistance to health and social centers, services and establishments
– Professional, commercial, institutional or legal obligations
– Attendance at universities, teaching and education centers, including nursery schools
– Return to the place of residence habitual or family (the family residence corresponds to another usual domicile, such as the family home for students, for example, the Catalan government told us)
– Assistance and care for the elderly, minors, dependents, people disabled or particularly vulnerable people
– Travel to financial and insurance entities
– Required or urgent actions before public, judicial or notarial authorities
– Renewals of permits and official documents, as well as other administrative procedures which cannot be postponed
– Take official examinations or tests which cannot be postponed
– In case of force majeure or a situation of necessity

The curfew is still maintained from 10 pm until 6 am and groups can only gather up to 6 people.

Bars and restaurants can open from 7:30 am until 5 pm and can still offer take-out until 10 pm with delivery until 11 pm

Cultural venues are open but at 50% capacity  mask are compulsory and doors close at 10 p.m. People who have attended a show, a play or a film will be able to return home by 11 pm and must present their cinema or theater ticket in the event of a police check.

The nightclubs are still closed but casinos and gaming rooms can reopen.

The sports halls, centers and gyms are open.

Shopping centers and stores are open with a 30% limit
